What is the Antahkarana symbol that I use in my logo?

I am frequently asked about the meaning and history of the Antahkarana symbol. It is an ancient symbol that refers to the deep levels of the mind, ego, and emotions. It’s about how we can transcend them and how we can grow from a spiritual perspective.

Antahkarana symbol

You might notice a similarity between the Antahkarana and the malevolent “Swastika” from Nazi symbolism. In their case, its purpose was to manipulate and dominate. The Swastika has nothing in common with the original Antahkarana – which is meant to cleanse, heal and connect to the Divine higher-self.

An ancient symbol, the Antahkarana is around 100,000 years old with its roots believed to be from the beginning of the lost civilization of Lemuria – on the Mu continent.  Others believe that the Antahkarana was created by a counsel of Ascended Masters who were watching over the evolution of the Galaxy and created it for the people of the earth who were notably in trouble and needed help in re-establishing their connection with their Higher Self.

The Antahkarana is a multi-dimensional symbol in a two-dimensional representation, within it, it incorporates the number “7” three times. This number is in strong connection with the 7 spiritual realms, the 7 chakras, and the 7 main colors of evolution (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet-white) and the 7 tones of the musical scale. Its energy moves up from two to three dimensions that can be seen and also continues up through unseen dimensions all the way to the highest dimension – the dimension of the Higher Self.  It is the connection between the physical brain and the Higher Self. It is this connection that must heal and develop if we are to grow spiritually. The Antahkarana symbol represents this connection and activates it whenever you are in its presence.

The Antahkarana is a very ancient healing and meditation symbol that has been used in China and Tibet for thousands of years. Today, it is a widely known symbol that has a consciousness of its own and is so powerful, it can work independently of outside energy.

Using the Antahkarana

As a powerful multi-dimensional symbol, it has a very long list of benefits and ways it is used. Below are just a few.

The most effective and important use of the Antahkarana symbol is its presence. By simply placing the symbol in a room, it will have a positive influence on the energy and people in that room.  With its shape, Antahkarana is able to literally cut the negative thoughts and energies that come close to it.

For healing purposes, Tibetans created candlelit rooms within which they placed a large oval bowl filled with several inches of water, representing the waters of life. In the center of the water, the Antahkarana symbol, usually made of silver, is placed. One wall is of polished copper creating a healing mirror; another wall is adorned with paintings depicting other healing symbols. The healer meditates on the symbol using his or her concentration to unite the energies of the symbol with that of the person requiring healing.

Tibetan and Buddhist Monks also place the symbol underneath them in meditation to enhance their connection to the Higher Realms.

When meditating with the symbol on your person or close by, it automatically creates what the Taoists call the great microcosmic orbit wherein the psychic energies that would normally enter the crown chakra enter the feet and travel up the back of the body to the top of the head and then down the front to the feet again, thus grounding the person to the earth and creating a continuous flow of energy through the chakras.

It will also neutralize negative energy that has collected in objects such as jewelry or crystals simply by placing the object between two symbols. In addition, it will enhance all healing work including Reiki, Polarity Therapy, Chiropractic, Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression etc. These positive effects have been confirmed over and over by the improved results noted by those using the symbol and by clairvoyant observation by those trained in sensing changes in the aura and chakras.

Water can also be purified in minutes by placing it upon the Antahkarana symbol. Any kind of radioactive or other contamination is removed. And since the human body is composed mainly of water, the symbols work in the same way on the body. If the energy needs to be concentrated on a small spot, use one of the corners of the symbol and press it upon the area for three minutes.
